Giving Hope

As a Christian teacher you are able to constantly give hope to your students, parents, and co-workers. You know that your self-worth comes from the Lord not from man. Many students are crying out for hope and as you set the standard and example, in the classroom, you are able to present them with that hope. You are able to share hope by encouragement, consistency, and showing the students you care about them as a person, not just making them an academic scholar. In a public school classroom it can sometimes be very hard for teachers to share their faith, but if the students see that you are a faithful, committed, consistent teacher who cares about their students, it will open doors to minister to them and their families.

Feb 6

I think being a christian teacher is a great way to touch childrens lives. It gives me an opportunity to shape the mind of a young person while sharing the love I have for teaching and for Jesus. I think that no matter what kind of home life a child has that they can be molded into a very successful young person. I am truly excited to be able to share my love of children and of education with others. I know that christian beleifs and methods are not always present in a public shcool classroom setting, but showing teh love of Christ is something that can be present in any situation.
